What are low humidity capsules?

Low humidity capsules are specific for hygroscopic active ingredients, which are sensitive to moisture in the environment or in the capsule itself, as well as for probiotics, which require low, controlled humidity.

Low humidity capsules are transparent, so it can be verified there has been no exposure or contamination due to humidity, as they are intended to hold moisture sensitive substances, such as certain medications or chemicals.

What are acid-resistant vegetable capsules recommended for?

Many natural ingredients are strongly hygroscopic, easily absorbing moisture from the capsule, causing phenomena such as agglomeration, hardening and fragmentation. Inprocaps are low moisture content capsules, making them suitable for hygroscopic and moisture sensitive ingredients.

They are also ideal for probiotics. The low humidity helps these delicate organisms and preserves the viability and effectiveness of the product, preventing premature activation or proliferation of unwanted microorganisms.
